Sacred Hoop Drum Making Workshop

Walter Smith (Walks on Wind) has been a ceremonial Hoop Drum maker for over 25 years. His experience includes the making of a large variety of drum sizes, including the large Mother drums. His drums are being used in many countries, by Western and also Native American people. One of his special 16 inch drums, which was made for the WESAK festival of Buddha in QLD, is now played for Peace around the world by Nedhni Apache/ Cherokee Elder J. Reuben Silverbird.

Hoop Drum
Ever wanted to make your own drum? Here is your chance!

In an all materials supplied full day workshop, Walter will share the art of making your own sacred Hoop Drum, which has been used by American Indians and other cultures around the world for hundreds of years. The drum is the very tool that holds, heals and connects all tribes to Mother Earth through its powerful Heart Beat rhythm. Not only will you enjoy the tone and rhythm playing it, but also discover more about yourself whilst creating the drum.

Once you have made your drum, you will be taken through a meditation, connecting you to your drum and preparing you for the Drum Naming Ceremony. After that, you are free to enjoy your drum's energy and vibration.

As this is a hands-on workshop, the participant numbers are kept small to ensure individual attention. To secure your space, book below or call Eyesberg Enterprises on 0416 586 816.
